Why I Don’t Believe in Algorithm Dating — And Why Real Journeys Matter Instead

I’ve watched the online dating world grow into a multi-billion-dollar industry. Apps promise to find us the perfect match using data, algorithms, and endless profiles. Yet so many people — myself included — feel the same frustration: it often feels random, shallow, cold, and exhausting.

Why is that?

Because the system is not really designed to help people find lasting love. It’s designed to keep people using the app. Happy couples who meet, fall in love, and delete the app become “lost customers.” So the business makes more money when users stay lonely, swiping, and paying for boosts, super likes, and premium features.

Algorithms can sort photos, age, and a few interests quite well. But they cannot measure the most important things: how someone makes you feel when you talk face to face, how they treat others, their values, their kindness in real life, or the natural chemistry that only appears when two people spend real time together.

That’s why I don’t believe in algorithm dating.

I believe real connection needs real journeys.

Instead of swiping on a screen, I invite sincere women to experience Beijing together — walking the symmetrical axis of the Forbidden City, exploring quiet hutongs, sharing views from the Great Wall, or simply enjoying a relaxed day at your own pace. These are private, personalized journeys where we can talk openly, laugh, observe each other naturally, and see if there is genuine understanding and compatibility.

No pressure. No gamification. No artificial matching scores.

Just two people (or with family/friends if you prefer) spending real time together in the real world.

This is how I believe the “Best of the Best” connection happens — not through data, but through shared experiences and honest interaction.

If you’re tired of the coldness of online dating and you’re serious about finding a meaningful, long-term relationship, you’re welcome to message me. We can start with a relaxed private journey in Beijing and see where it naturally leads.

Real connection deserves real time.
